Monaco Editor Integration
DevDesk embeds the VS Code editor (Monaco) directly into your notes. This gives you:
- Syntax Highlighting: For code blocks within your markdown.
- Minimap: Disabled by default for cleaner UI (configurable).
- Word Wrap: Automatic wrapping for comfortable reading.
- Font: Optimized typography with 14px size and 16px padding.
Wiki-Links & Connections
Connect your ideas using the [[Link]] syntax.
- Type `[[` to trigger the autocomplete menu.
- Select any existing note to create a bi-directional link.
- DevDesk automatically detects if you mention another note's title and suggests linking it.
Views & Modes
- Split Mode: Edit on the left, preview on the right.
- Live Preview: Real-time rendering of markdown styles.
- Version History: Every change is saved. Restore previous versions with one click via the "History" button.
Templates
Create reusable structures for your notes. Check the Template Manager to:
