Standard Templates

DevDesk comes with built-in examples that you can customize:

  • Meeting Notes: Attendees, Agenda, Action Items.
  • Tech Spec: Problem, Solution, Implementation Details.
  • Daily Log: Today's tasks, Blockers, Tomorrow's plan.
  • Bug Report: Steps to reproduce, Expected behavior, Environment.

Creating a Template

  1. Open the Template Manager from the settings or command palette.
  2. Click "New Template".
  3. Write your markdown content. You can include placeholders like {date} (coming soon).
  4. Save and assign a name.

Using Templates

When you create a new note (Cmd+N), you'll see an option to "Choose Template" if you have any saved. You can also insert a template into an existing note via the Command Palette.
