Standard Templates
DevDesk comes with built-in examples that you can customize:
- Meeting Notes: Attendees, Agenda, Action Items.
- Tech Spec: Problem, Solution, Implementation Details.
- Daily Log: Today's tasks, Blockers, Tomorrow's plan.
- Bug Report: Steps to reproduce, Expected behavior, Environment.
Creating a Template
- Open the Template Manager from the settings or command palette.
- Click "New Template".
- Write your markdown content. You can include placeholders like
{date}(coming soon). - Save and assign a name.
Using Templates
When you create a new note (Cmd+N), you'll see an option to "Choose Template" if you have any saved. You can also insert a template into an existing note via the Command Palette.
